Anti Scalent for RO plant Description:
SPEEDIX–(AS) has been
Developed as a general purpose
Antiscalant for use in water
Reverse Osmosis and Nano-Filtration
systems.
 
By inhibiting all scaling of carbonate and sulphate salt of calcium magnesium , barium , strontium also iron and colloidal deposit and SPEEDIX (AS)
Allows systems to be designed and operated at high
rates of recovery. Significant capital and operational cost savings can be made by reducing the amount of feed water used and concentrate to be discharged.
 
Application
SPEEDIX (AS) should be dosed continuously to the feed water upstream of the cartridge filters.
Typical dosage rates are 2 -5 PPM and MAX 10 – 12 PPM
The optimum dosage rate can be calculated by studying parameters of inlet water quantity in respect of TDS, calcium & silica.
SPEEDIX (AS) can be diluted and is fully miscible with water in all proportions.

SPEEDIX (AS) is an aqueous solution of a neutralized phosphoric acid and is approved for use in drinking water applications. SPPEDIX (AS) is compatible with carbon steel and all commonly used materials of construction.
